Власти Вильнюса хотят снести Дом Москвы из-за того, что он «несет угрозу нацбезопасности»
Суд в Вильнюсе признал здание Дома Москвы неузаконенной постройкой и разрешил снести его в 2023 году, причиной такого решения, по заявлениям властей, является — «угроза национальной безопасности».
Культурный центр был возведён в столице Литвы несколько лет назад, а идея его создания появилась еще в 2004 году. Он задумывался как центр культурного и делового сотрудничества между Москвой и Вильнюсом. Предполагалось, что в здании появятся зал, музей, помещения для выставок. Однако, завершить строительство не удалось, так как власти Вильнюса сначала сослались на нарушение технического регламента, а затем претензии технического характера трансформировались в «угрозу национальной безопасности».
Каким образом это навредит нацбезопасности — не уточняется.
Власти Литвы давно известны своими чудаковатыми решениями, наносящими ущерб не только истории и культуре, но также здравому смыслу. Позже всё это, так или иначе, скажется на народе Литвы.

Совсем недавно Шимашюс заявил, что на местных кладбищах не должно быть ни актов вандализма, ни советских памятников.

А столичный горсовет решил, что после того, как скульптуры будут переданы государством в собственность муниципалитета, они будут отданы музею на 20 лет.
При этом Шимашюс всерьез считает, что, если кто и обращался с кладбищами негуманным образом, то это были советские власти, которые соорудили площадь и идеологические символы на территории кладбища.
