Премьера документального фильма «Поиск» режиссера Дмитрия Статейнова — о работе абхазских курсантов, занимающихся поиском узников фашистских концлагерей из Абхазии и их родных, прошла на российском телеканале Russia Today.
«Премьера прошла в пятницу. А уже в субботу, в течение дня, его показали четыре раза. Фильм попал в прайм-тайм. Мы довольны результатом», — сказал Статейнов.
Авторы фильма выражают благодарность вице-премьеру Абхазии Сергею Пустовалову и руководству Министерства обороны РА за содействии в продвижении фильма на RT.
В июне 2022 года премьера фильма «Поиск» состоялась в эфире федерального телеканала НТВ.
Фильм «Поиск» снят при финансовой поддержке Правительства Москвы, Торгово-промышленной палаты Абхазии и при материально-технической поддержке Министерства обороны РА, в рамках Международного военно-мемориального проекта «Возвращение имени под руководством Григория Скворцова, посвящённого памяти жителей Абхазии и других стран СНГ, погибших в плену немецких фашистов, и направлен на помощь тем, кто ищет своих родных, без вести пропавших в Великой Отечественной войне.
Ранее сообщалось, что фильм «Поиск» был рекомендован Вооружёнными силами Российской Федерации для показа учащимися учреждений начального, общего и среднего образования, а также участникам Всероссийского детско-юношеское военно-патриотическое общественное движение «Юнармия». Также копия фильма «Поиск» передана в СПб университет МВД РФ для дальнейших показов на базе ВУЗа в целях патриотического воспитания молодёжи.
«Поиск» дважды был показан студентам Абхазского государственного университета, жителям Галского района, Санкт-Петербурга и Тирасполя.
Работа над фильмом длилась с 2018 по 2021 годы.
